This series of bricks are made from high-quality fused MgO, fused corundum, and graphite as main raw materials and phenolic resin as a binder. The products are mainly used in the bottom and sidewall of the ladle with better corrosion and erosion resistance.
MgO-Al2O3-C bricks are used in and appreciated with a good performance by more than ten steel mills including Jingtang Steel (ladle of 300mt), Baotou Steel (ladle of 210mt), Hanbao Steel (ladle of 300mt)Handan Steel (ladle of 120mt), and Xingtai Steel (ladle of 80mt).
